Sailing life isn’t always just an adventure at sea… or at land… but it’s an adventure of relationships…
Our friends Travis and Angela stayed with us for 10 days and it was incredible. They were the first to love Selkie, the first to buddy boat the inter coastal, the first to know what covid in Kemah really felt like on Chkm8.
A few days after they arrived our friends from our time in Guatamala came here to look for a boat! Yes they want to begin the sailing journey.
But yesterday JK left, then angivis left, now Starship is leaving and our friends we arrived here with 18 months ago, Tulum 3, they are heading out!
But it’s the relationships that pull you back. As we were sad to see our friends go we looked over to see that Song of the South had returned to anchor, we also got a message that Jonathan and Karin will be back and they think they will buy the beautiful boat. And as we move through the anchorage we SEE Jenni Lind from Mexico we haven’t seen since 2022!! They are here.
Oh and our online friends Beau and Brandy …did we mention them?
It’s a journey of love for the sea, love for our boats, love of the sport, and the weather and mother nature…
And it’s a journey of the relationships that leave, but are never really gone, and even better they return to drop anchor right next to you… to again be part of the chapter of the next story.
