Maybe it’s because they show up where life is thriving. Maybe it’s because they quietly take care of the mosquitoes without asking for recognition. Or maybe old sailors just appreciate any crew member willing to work the night watch for free.
Either way, I wasn’t about to argue with tradition.
A friend caught four little stowaways for me at his bar this week.
This evening, I released them aboard the boat.
