Not every course correction is about avoiding danger. Sometimes it’s about chasing a better horizon. The younger version of ourselves often sets destinations that made perfect sense at the time. More money. More recognition. More possessions. More speed. Then the years pass. The miles accumulate. And one day you look up from the chart table and realize the destination itself no longer calls to you the way it once did. There is no shame in that. A sailor who refuses to change destinations simply because he wrote them down years ago may spend his whole life sailing toward a harbor he no longer wishes to enter. Wisdom isn’t always knowing how to hold a course. Sometimes it’s knowing when to choose a different shore. Put a hand on the wheel. The horizon is still full of possibilities. #CourseCorrections #LifeWellLived #Stoicism #Growth #Purpose #KeepSteering #CaptainMichael
