Captain Michael: There are seasons when life asks us to push harder. And there are seasons when it quietly asks us to listen. Many year

There are seasons when life asks us to push harder. And there are seasons when it quietly asks us to listen. Many years ago, my mother introduced me to the writings of Rumi. His words became a place of comfort for her, and over the years they’ve become a quiet companion for me as well. This week, as summer reaches its midpoint and another year is half written, I’d like to share a few of the lessons I’ve found along the way. Not as philosophy to be studied, but as gentle reminders for the days when life feels a little heavier than we’d hoped. Rumi once wrote: “Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.” Perhaps that’s where every meaningful journey begins. Good morning from our philosophical beach. Let’s see where this week’s tide carries us. #Rumi #MorningReflection #LifeLessons #PhilosophicalBeach #HalfwayThrough #QuietWisdom #LiveThoughtfully
