Good evening.
It’s later than I’m usually awake.
The moon is nearly full tonight, and the harbor has borrowed just enough of its light to shimmer.
Somewhere across the water, I can hear music from the village.
A drum.
Young voices.
Laughter now and then.
The breeze has taken the evening off, so every sound seems to drift a little farther than usual.
I don’t know any of the children practicing tonight.
But somehow it still makes this little corner of the harbor feel like home.
I hope, before you turn in, you find a quiet moment to simply listen.
The world has a gentle way of reminding us we’re part of something larger than ourselves.
Sleep well, my friends. 💛
