If I can share why it has been an excellent week… since I was a teenager, my fav drummer has been Terry Bozzio (Zappa, Missing Persons, Jeff Beck, tons more). He is now joining Beat- which has Adrian Belew and Tony Levin of King Crimson (the focus is on songs from their era of that band), with Steve Vai on 2nd guitar. If you know, I don’t have to tell you. If you don’t, these 4 guys have played on so many ppls records tha have kicked my ass in over the years.
Originally I was going to fly up to CT and see them there, and use it as an excuse to catch up w old friends and bandmates. But I was looking at tickets for the St Pete show, and for what I’d pay for the flights and the CT ticket, I could get a front row seat, with meet and greet and soundcheck in St Pete. Ofc I pulled the trigger. I’ve never been in the front row for any concert ever, and while I’m usually not big on meeting my heroes, all 4 of these guys in one shot? 🤯
Stupid psyched for this, just thought I’d share.
