Ms Maggie: Good morning.

Good morning.
I’ve been sitting here thinking about all the things I once believed I would have figured out by the time I got older.
People.
Marriage.
Money.
What I wanted.
What mattered.
Why some friendships lasted and others quietly disappeared.
I assumed there would come an age when all the pieces finally settled into their proper places and I would look around and think, “Ah. So that’s how it works.”
I’m still waiting. 😊
What has changed is that I no longer find that particularly troubling.
There are questions I don’t need answered anymore.
People I can love without completely understanding.
Memories I don’t need to explain.
Decisions that made sense to the woman I was then, even if the woman I am today might choose differently.
Perhaps growing older isn’t about finally filling in all the blanks.
Maybe it’s becoming comfortable enough to leave a few of them empty.
The tea is getting cold, which probably means I’ve spent enough time thinking for one morning.
I hope your day gives you a little room to simply be. 💛
