For no particular reason… And I mentioned I like “Bloody Maria’s” better,
Talking about “Bloody Mary’s” this morning….
For no particular reason… And I mentioned I like “Bloody Maria’s” better, made with Tequila, or even better a “Smokey Bloody Maria” with Mescal.. Which got me thinking if we change the “name” after the “Bloody” based on the booze mixed with the juice… then the base “Bloody Mary” should be made with an English booze like Gin not Vodka. (At first I thought it was based off Mary Queen of Scott’s and was going to say it should have, say, a Johnny Walker Black as the base) but alas it’s named after the Protestant butcher, Queen Mary 1st. So Gin it is.. which brings me back to the obviously misnamed vodka version.. I’m thinking something like, “Bloody Milla Jovovich” would be more appropriate
