Captain Michael: Good Monday morning, my friends. Ever tried pouring another cup of coffee into a cup that’s already full? Doesn’t work

Good Monday morning, my friends. Ever tried pouring another cup of coffee into a cup that’s already full? Doesn’t work very well. The cup doesn’t get more coffee. The table does. 😂 Seems obvious when we’re talking about coffee. Less obvious when we’re talking about life. We fill the calendar. Then add one more commitment. We fill the house. Then buy one more thing. We fill our minds with information. Then spend another hour scrolling. We fill our days with obligations and wonder why there isn’t any room left for the things we actually enjoy. At some point, the question stops being: “Can I fit a little more in?” And becomes: “What is all this extra costing me?” Every vessel has a capacity. Maybe wisdom isn’t learning how to cram more into it. Maybe wisdom is recognizing when it’s full… and having the good sense to stop pouring. Here’s to leaving a little room in the cup this Monday morning. Fair winds, my friends. ☕⛵ #Enough, #Capacity, #LeaveSomeRoom, #SimpleLiving, #IntentionalLiving, #MindfulLiving, #Perspective, #Contentment, #LifeLessons, #MondayMorning, #SailingLife, #FairWinds
