Good Friday morning, my friends. We’ve spent a lot of time talking about enough. How much is enough? What are we carrying? What should we set down? What deserves the space? When should we stop pouring? All good questions. But maybe we’ve been circling one much simpler truth. Enough isn’t something we finally acquire. It’s something we learn to recognize. Because there will always be another dollar we could earn. Another possession we could buy. Another goal we could chase. Another place we could visit. Another thing we could improve. Another horizon beyond this one. If enough is waiting somewhere out there, we’re going to spend our entire lives sailing toward it. Maybe it isn’t out there. Maybe it’s here. Not forever. Not for every part of our lives. Just here, now. Enough food for today. Enough people who care about us. Enough purpose to get out of bed. Enough experience to handle whatever comes next. Enough beauty around us if we remember to look. And, if we’re fortunate, enough time left to enjoy some of it. We can still want tomorrow. We can still build, dream, explore, and chase another horizon. But we don’t have to make today inadequate in order to do it. Look around this morning. You may discover you’ve already arrived somewhere worth being. For this moment, this is enough.
