My berth.
Even the cockpit.
Eventually I gave up and made another cup of tea.
That’s when I caught my reflection in the companionway window.
They were on top of my head.
I’m choosing to consider this evidence that I put things in very safe places.
Finding them again is apparently a separate skill.
