Captain Michael: Funny how much of life gets spent waiting for life to begin. When I get through this project… When I have enough money

Funny how much of life gets spent waiting for life to begin. When I get through this project… When I have enough money… When things settle down… When the weather improves… When I finally have more time… Then. Then I’ll relax. Then I’ll enjoy myself. Then I’ll pay attention to the things that matter. Except life has a peculiar habit of happening while we’re waiting for then. This morning the rain hasn’t started yet. The coffee is hot. The world outside is waking up. Nothing particularly remarkable is happening. And maybe that’s the point. Ram Dass wasn’t telling us to wait for a sufficiently important moment and then Be Here Now. He meant this one. The ordinary one. The one we’re tempted to hurry through on our way to something else. Maybe a well-lived life isn’t built from a handful of extraordinary moments. Maybe it’s built by being awake for the thousands of ordinary ones. Because someday we may discover that all those moments we thought we were waiting through… were our life. Good Sunday morning, friends. #Now, #BeHereNow, #RamDass, #Presence, #LifeWellLived, #SundayMorning, #Mindfulness, #Taoism, #CrypTok
