“Be Here Now” is easy advice when Now is good. A beautiful morning. Someone you love sitting beside you. A full belly. A fair wind. But sometimes here is exactly where we don’t want to be. There are moments of grief. Fear. Pain. Loneliness. Uncertainty. Days when tomorrow isn’t something we’re rushing toward so much as something we’re hoping will rescue us. Just get me through this. I’ve had those moments too. And I don’t think presence asks us to pretend they’re beautiful. There’s nothing particularly enlightened about enjoying pain. Maybe being here now simply means refusing to add another layer of suffering by demanding that this moment be something it isn’t. This hurts. I’m afraid. I don’t know what happens next. Those things can be true. And still… the next breath arrives. Then another. The sun moves a little farther across the sky. Somewhere a bird makes noise without asking whether today is a good day for it. Life continues doing what life does. Maybe that’s enough. We don’t always have to love Now. Sometimes we just have to stay with it. Not forever. Not until everything makes sense. Just until the next moment arrives. And then we meet that one too. Good evening, friends. #Now, #BeHereNow, #Presence, #RamDass, #LifeWellLived, #Acceptance, #Resilience, #EveningThoughts, #CrypTok
