It’s Labor Day in the United States. For a lot of folks, that means a day off. Good for them. Enjoy it. Down here, in Panama, it’s Monday. 😂 And Monday has brought along the same things Mondays usually bring. Things that need fixing. Things that need finishing. Things that need figuring out. There’s something appropriate about that during a week we’re calling Work the Problem. Because most of the work that matters isn’t dramatic. It’s not steering failure in heavy seas. It’s not a hundred feet of chain under the boat. Most of it is considerably less exciting. Answer the message. Make the call. Clean up yesterday’s mess. Figure out why the damn thing that worked perfectly last week has suddenly decided it no longer wishes to participate. Then do the next thing. We tend to admire the big moments when somebody rises to the occasion. But I suspect a well-lived life is built much more often on ordinary Mondays when nobody is watching. You show up. You do what needs doing. You do it as well as you can. And when something gets in the way? Well… Work the problem. Good morning, friends. I’ve got work to do. #WorkTheProblem, #LaborDay, #MondayMorning, #Resilience, #ProblemSolving, #Discipline, #LifeWellLived, #SeekingAWellLivedLife, #CrypTok
