Every sailor eventually meets weather he didn’t plan for.
A forecast missed the mark.
The wind built harder than expected.
The seas changed temperament.
And suddenly the voyage becomes less about controlling conditions…
and more about adapting to them.
Life works much the same way.
Most of us begin with carefully drawn charts for how our lives are supposed to unfold:
career,
relationships,
identity,
purpose.
Then somewhere along the passage, the wind shifts.
And if we are fortunate, we slowly discover that losing the original course does not necessarily mean losing the voyage.
Sometimes the unexpected current carries us toward parts of ourselves we never would have discovered otherwise.
The sea teaches flexibility without surrender.
You adjust sail.
You change heading.
You respect the weather.
But you keep moving.
A life well-lived is probably not built by avoiding uncertainty…
but by learning how to remain steady while passing through it.
