Mesa Gateway Airport - North Departure Procedure Update I have been monitoring the flight paths my whole life, and I must say, this proposed magenta line is a remarkably structured piece of drafting. The introduction of the three specific waypoints should bring a much-needed level of predictability to the afternoon noise levels. I particularly appreciate that the 3,000-foot mandatory altitude restriction is clearly underlined; consistency in altitude is entirely underrated these days. The white historical tracks, while chaotic, do form quite a pleasant sweeping curve over the US-60 corridor if you look at them long enough. I’ll be keeping my digital anemometer running this weekend to see if the crosswinds align with their math. A very satisfying map. No frills. Just good, honest flight data.
