and more on the moments that made life feel whole.
Walking through hardwood forests as a boy.
Listening to thunderstorms from the safety of the porch.
The rhythm of goats waiting patiently to be milked.
The smell of fresh-cut timber while building a home with my own hands.
Quiet mornings before the world wakes up.
At the time, none of it seemed extraordinary.
It was simply life.
But maybe that is the point.
A life well-lived is rarely built from grand moments alone.
More often, it is shaped slowly through ordinary days filled with:
meaningful work,
honest relationships,
quiet reflection,
and connection to something larger than ourselves.
The older I get, the less I believe fulfillment comes from having more…
and the more I believe it comes from learning to truly appreciate what is already here.
The sunrise.
The rain.
The work.
The people.
The peace.
That feels like enough.
