"Flaw of Distraction"

Shaken from the corrupted ways I was taught to live,
I seek out to the inner self of myself to find those fears;
And now that I know exactly what I'm going through,
I open my mouth to express the feelings to be sane again;
Another path cut out for me to fade into and get lost into,
Like the forest of many illusions, with lost resentments;
Fears strike me but I still get my butt back up to fight,
Although the ways of man still limit my endurant powers;
I act like a god when I should act like a man of mortality,
Because television and radio and internet told me to,
To spend money mindlessly and expect a big return,
When all it's really about is to focus on your internals;
The law of attraction is too commercialized and perverted,
Especially with conflicting information you find on YouTube.
