This afternoon I watched a line of ants carrying something across the dock.
Every one of them was busy.
Every one of them was moving.
Every one of them seemed to know exactly what needed doing next.
It got me thinking.
Most of us spend our days the same way.
Emails.
Meetings.
Errands.
Projects.
One thing after another.
Busy from sunrise to sunset.
There's nothing wrong with being busy.
The question is whether we're busy doing things that matter.
Attention isn't just noticing what's around us.
It's noticing where we're investing our time, our energy, and our lives.
Because at the end of the day, a full calendar and a meaningful life are not necessarily the same thing.
Sometimes it's worth stopping for a minute and asking:
"Is what I'm doing today moving me toward the life I want to live?"
Not a complicated question.
But it can be an important one.
Enjoy the evening, my friends.
