Photo 1: In 1983, Pantera, the band behind the smash hit songs "Cowboys From Hell," "Domination," "Walk", "I'm Broken," and many more hits...they were a glam metal band, and were unsuccessful at it. This record you see here, called Metal Magic, is one of their unsuccessful albums, featuring glam-inspired performances, let alone a different singer who called himself Terry Glaze (the successful singer is named Phil Anselmo). I used to have this vinyl in my collection, but I had to declutter it and donate it to Goodwill, as I had a LOT of stuff I no longer needed that was gathering dust. However, before I got rid of it, I ripped it to MP3s, and I still have the MP3 rips to this very day, on my phone and my iPod. Luckily the album is everywhere on YouTube, so you can give it a listen without having to pay hundreds of dollars.
Photo 2: Every Apple Computer fanatic knows about the Apple II, as well as its second version, the Apple IIe. I knew people who had this Apple computer and I used to play some fun games on theirs, and I was lucky enough to emulate this Apple model on my current computer, using an open source Windows program called AppleWin. I used a specific program called AppleWorks for the Apple II, and I had a boat load of fun writing with that program, including drafts for poems and short stories. I did hear that Steve Jobs was so obsessed with getting rid of production of this computer, given that he was so poised for user friendliness on his brand.
