This is another super-rare Monopoly set. While it was one of those early boxed sets that didn't include the board, it was known for how unclear how many are left in this world. The story goes that when Parker Brothers bought the rights from Charles Darrow, they seized these editions, took out the contents inside, and then disposed of these boxes, therefore the rarity increase. I found this while on a big hunt for the 1933 Monopoly set that I mentioned in an earlier post of the Monopoly from 1934. I found a few images of the 1933 set, but most are either incomplete or very low resolution, with some search results being of replicas and reproductions sold on Etsy. I will not quit though.
